4/4 School of Music has more than
35 of the best music teachers in the Northwest! We receive more than
1,000 applications each year from music teachers all over the
world.
A great player is not necessarily
a great teacher and a great teacher not always the best player. At
4/4, we know what it takes to be an excellent teacher so we are
constantly interviewing teachers to bring you only the best!
New 4/4 School of Music teachers...
1) Consent to criminal background checks.
2) Submit a multi-page application & bio.
3) Go through a rigorous multi-stage interview process.
4) Perform an audition.
5) Submit multiple references from students and employers.
Most music students don't know
what to look for in a music teacher. They also lack the time, energy
and knowledge to interview and audition multiple teachers to find
just the right one.
This is where 4/4 really shines! With decades of teaching experience
ourselves, we know just what makes a music teacher excellent and
how to match students with teachers.

At 4/4 we require all
teachers to be on time and respect your schedule. If your
teacher is sick or has to miss a lesson to play a concert, we can
usually provide a substitute to keep you moving forward!
