Thanks Bonnie,
It is a pleasure (ie: very easy/efficient) to work with you!

We really liked Jessica. She was well prepared, structured and friendly, and she guided my child closely on the techniques. She is what we have been looking for. I will sign up for her class

Ben (my Instructor at 4/4 music) helped me cross from being a basic acoustic guitar player to playing electric guitar in a rock band. Plus, my ability to jam, improvise and pick apart music I hear took a huge leap on both kinds of instruments. I am a better musician, a better player and a better learner because of Ben and 4/4 music.

I do very much like working with Jessica she has a good ability to find what keeps me motivated.

The school is wonderful and her teacher is great. We originally signed her
up to make sure she liked playing violin just for school purposes, then she
loved the lessons, so we kept them going. She actually did so well with
lessons she is first chair at school, which is great, but now she is almost
bored in orchestra at school. So, we decided to let the school catch up to
where she is and then possibly add the lessons back when she needs them,
maybe next school year.
We have nothing but positive things to say about
Adam, he’s a wonderful teacher and helped Megan fall in love with playing
the violin. I’m sure we’ll be back and there’s always her little sister who
wants to play violin too in a year and a half!
Thanks,
Anne
Ben is great. He targeted on my needs immediately and I left feeling
like I had made huge strides from where I was – far more than I dared
hope.

I would like to submit an evaluation of my guitar teacher, Luke Sayers.
I’m a beginner guitar player and I’ve been a student of Luke’s for
about a year. Luke is a very patient teacher. He’s very adaptable to
what songs I’m interested in learning how to play. He can pick up
songs by ear and then translate the proper chords and timing to sheet
music and guitar tablature. I don’t have particularly long fingers
but Luke has been instrumental in showing me alternative fingering to
certain chords to make it easier for me.
He’s always positive and encouraging when I’m experiencing challenges learning particular songs. He employs the latest technology to assist in the learning process. For example, he records a particular song I want to play
into a MP3 file and in this format using a particular device he can
slow down the song without altering the pitch. This allows beginners
like me to work out complicated rhythms and progressively ratchet up
the speed. This example shows his creative and dedicated approach
towards teaching. He is not only assisting me in learning how to play
songs but he’s introducing me to music theory which I hope will give
me a deeper understanding of music.
I’ve seen Luke play at one of his concerts and he’s an extremely
talented musician. He is also an extremely talented teacher.
In short, I don’t know if I’d still be playing the guitar if it wasn’t
for a teacher like Luke Sayers.
Sincerely,
Kevin S. Harris

My son Sam has been enrolled for a couple of years now at the Silver Lake/Everett location taking guitar lessons from Ben. We couldn’t be happier and Sam considers his class one of the highlight of his week.
