Can I cancel a lesson without losing my tuition?
Yes.
We know you are busy and sometimes you may have to reschedule or cancel lessons. No problem. We have extremely flexible cancellation & rescheduling policies! In fact there are a number of options available to you. Just let us know more than 24 hours before your lesson if you can't make it and we will offer you a makeup lesson at a different time or on a different day. You can reach us 24 hours a day via email or voicemail so go ahead and call in the middle of the night. We don't mind! You can even take makeup lessons on a different instrument, at a different 4/4 School of Music location, with a different teacher or give them to a friend or sibling if you wish! Many students enrolled in half hour weekly lessons like to take an occasional hour lesson with their regular teacher as a makeup lesson.
If you don't wish to pay for a particular cancellation then simply give us 30-days notice and we will reduce your tuition for that month. No problem at all. If you prefer, you can schedule a makeup lesson instead of the reduced tuition. It's completely up to you. They are your lessons!
How much notice do I have to give before I quit taking lessons (withdraw from the school)?
Just one lesson.
We ask that you attend one more lesson so you can say goodbye to your teacher and get a bunch of music to work on while you are taking a break from lessons.
Do you have any registration fees or other costs?
No.
We have no registration fees so you can come and go as you please without having to pay some phony fee. What is a registration fee anyway? Aren't you already paying for lessons. That just doesn't make sense to us.
Do I have to sign a contract or stay in lessons for a long time?
No. That wouldn't be fair!
We are here to help you achieve your musical goals and hopefully add some fun to the rest of your life through being involved in music. We only want you to be here if you want to be here. Our jobs are really fun and we wouldn't want to mess that up by having a bunch of unhappy students hanging around :-)

How much does it cost to try it for a month (first four lessons)?
Your first lesson is FREE!
Our first month new student package includes the free trial lesson plus three more half-hour private lessons for a total of four lessons for only $89 in Washington or Texas, $74 in Oregon.
How much does it cost after the first month?
It isn't much more than your first month. It does vary depending on how long your lessons are, which school you will be attending, which instrument you will be studying & which teacher you are with.
